Job Summary
Supervise and coach engineering technicians in the Horizon Homes hotel engineering operations at Shangri-La The Fort Manila. Maintain safe and efficient operation of the plant, machine room, and all accessories; organize records for future planning; oversee compliance with policies and Engineering Manual. Requires minimum 3 years of experience in an international hotel or equivalent, a BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, knowledge of major equipment (boiler, chiller, generator, etc.), and proven staff-management capabilities. Strong English communication, initiative, and team-building abilities are highly valued.
Required Qualifications
- BS Mechanical Engineering or BS Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years experience in an international hotel or similar capacity
- Knowledge of boilers, chillers, generators, and related equipment
- Experience in supervising and coaching engineering technicians
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Strong leadership, initiative, and team-building skills
- Right to work in the Philippines
- Desirable: strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Desirable: attention to detail and professional values
