Job Summary
Supervise the building control systems, maintenance programmes, and staff for designated buildings, ensuring preventative maintenance tasks meet required quality standards. Identify and diagnose faults to carry out repairs, adjustments, and maintenance works on plant and machinery per the planned schedule. Control and monitor building access control systems, assist in preparing maintenance schedules, and ensure service areas and plant rooms remain in pristine condition. Prepare defect schedules for plant, services, and building structure, progress remedial actions, and record energy/fuel costs and consumption levels. Organize service manuals, drawings, and documentation, while ensuring accurate completion of staff time/task sheets. Be available outside normal hours for emergency situations and inform relevant parties of any plant or safety system disruptions. Comply with Health & Safety policies and ISO 9001 quality management requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Apprenticeship in either mechanical or electrical engineering
- Relevant certification
- Experience of electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems within a large complex
- Ability to motivate staff
- Communication at all levels
- Ability to cope with stressful situations
- Appreciation of the importance of customer service
- Flexible and willing approach to work

- Knowledge of Relevant Emergency Procedures
- Knowledge of Insurance Impairment Procedures
- Understanding and adoption of the Company's ESG Strategy
- Adherence to environmental regulations
- Implementation of ISO 9001 system requirements
- Effective implementation of Procedures, Plans, and Forms within Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS)
Desired Qualifications
- Training in Key Manager Programme Modules within six months of commencement of employment
