Job Summary
Engineering Supervisor responsible for maintaining the hotel’s building, grounds, and mechanical equipment with emphasis on safety, security, and asset protection. Oversees vendor relationships and overall preventative maintenance programs; conducts walk-throughs of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems; ensures projects and repairs meet codes and brand standards; manages life-safety inspections and certifications; handles work orders and scheduling within preventive maintenance programs; maintains organized work areas and ensures safe chemical handling per SDS; supports critical incidents and uses maintenance software (Quore/PM Works or brand systems); requires knowledge of building maintenance methods and ability to obtain a certified pool operator license; hospitality experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year of maintenance experience
- Must have knowledge of general building maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, electrical units and HVAC
- Must possess or obtain a certified pool operator license
- Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
