Job Summary
Contribute to safe field operations by completing hazard assessments, participating in worksite safety observations, and identifying opportunities to improve safe practices. Monitor, inspect, and troubleshoot production equipment and systems while supporting the efficient operation of conventional oil and gas facilities across light oil, heavy oil, gas, and thermal assets. Perform well testing, production reporting, and operational data collection activities to ensure reliability. Collaborate with Operations and Engineering teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives. Gain hands-on experience with production recovery methods including water floods and Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) during a four-month work term starting May 2027.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering or an Engineering Technology diploma program from an accredited post-secondary institution
- Possess a valid Class 5 Alberta driver's license or an equivalent out of province license
- A pre-employment drug screening test must be successfully completed
- Required to be physically and mentally fit for work
- Responsible attitude towards safety

- Enjoy problem solving

- Experience operating a pickup truck and comfort driving on highways, rural roads, and lease roads in varying weather conditions
