Job Summary
Leads and provides strategic leadership for the Engineering and Reliability team at Kimberly-Clark, overseeing safety programs, quality optimization, people management, and delivery/cost performance; drives Lean/continuous improvement, capital projects, and adherence to corporate policies while shaping asset performance and environmental objectives. Requires coaching and developing engineers, influencing across functions, and travel up to 15%. Involves partnering with site leadership to ensure safe, productive operations and a proactive, compliant work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a science, engineering or related discipline
- 10+ years industrial experience with increasing leadership responsibility
- Experience in multiple mills, product systems and staff experience, along with leadership of a non-exempt workforce is highly desired
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop team members for career development and performance improvement
- Ability to effectively influence across all levels and functions in the organization
- Experience leading capital projects, adhering to Kimberly Clark’s capital execution practices, standards, and CFI’s
- Incumbent would possess demonstrated ability to organize and lead a multi-functional team and foster a proactive team environment
- Flexibility to travel up to 15% for benchmarking and best practice sharing across KCNA
