Job Summary
Engineering Specification Representative for PPG coatings in US/Canada, responsible for accelerating growth in data center and related infrastructure markets by calling on architects, engineering firms, owners and general contractors to ensure PPG coatings are specified. Build relationships with asset owners, architects, engineering firms, general contractors, fabricators, and applicators; identify key decision makers in the contract chain to influence coatings selection and drive specifications early in project lifecycles. Promote Certified Applicators, collaborate with sales/marketing/product development/operations to ensure commercialization and delivery of solutions, provide lifecycle support to fabricator/applicator partners, and ensure compliance with regulations and company policies. Requires strong project management, engineering/technical expertise, and willingness to travel across the US and Canada. Salary range $87k-$120k; degree in engineering or business with MBA preferred; 5+ years calling on AEC professionals.”,
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Equivalent experience can be substituted for degree
- Minimum 5 years experience calling on architects, engineering firms and general contractors working with specifications
- Strong technical understanding product specification cycles and construction process
- Willingness to travel frequently across the US and Canada
