Job Summary
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance for buildings, roofs, floors, roads, drainage systems, sound systems, furniture, and site infrastructure. Perform routine inspections to identify defects and repair components to ensure safe, reliable operation. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns while supporting civil works, infrastructure improvements, and workplace modifications. Coordinate with contractors, monitor work quality, complete work orders, and update records in the CMMS. Follow all safety, environmental, and company procedures strictly. Assist in maintaining housekeeping and ensuring facility assets remain in good condition. Support the largest Seagate manufacturing site globally, which produces cloud-based storage equipment for over 10,000 employees.
Required Qualifications
- Safety-conscious with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Hands-on and willing to work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills.
- Diploma or Technical Certificate in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, Mechanical, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in facility maintenance, building maintenance, or civil infrastructure maintenance.
- Experience with building repairs, flooring, roofing, drainage, roads, or general facility maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.
- Ability to use common maintenance tools and equipment.
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with CMMS or maintenance work order systems is an advantage.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
