Engineering Specialist- Carpenter II

Develop and prepare project layouts with limited supervision, estimating dimensions and selecting appropriate materials for hotel structures and furnishings. Construct, assemble, and repair cabinets, moldings, partitions, doors, windows, and prefabricated structures using wood, fiberglass, plastic, and drywall. Operate hand and power tools including saws, drills, and sanders to complete installations and replacements for ceiling tiles, glass panes, and fixtures. Ensure structural accuracy using measuring tools while maintaining a clean, hazard-free workspace in compliance with safety regulations. Safely lift and transport materials weighing up to 50 pounds and participate in training sessions to stay current on procedures. Requires at least two years of professional carpentry experience, a high school diploma, and a valid Florida driver's license.
