Job Summary
Engineering Solutions & Support Manager lead(s) engineering solutions and support initiatives across storage and networking disciplines, guiding multiple teams through design, development, troubleshooting, and delivery of products, services, and solutions. The role combines strong technical leadership with people-management responsibilities, including hiring, performance planning, coaching, and career development. The position requires balancing resources, schedules, and costs to meet program roadmaps, partnering with program managers, marketing, supply chain, and executives, and driving process improvements and cost reductions. The role emphasizes coaching for a customer-centric, OneTeam approach, and supports hybrid work with an expectation of ~2 days per week in an HPE office. The candidate should have deep technical knowledge in Storage and/or Networking, proven leadership to manage diverse teams, and the ability to communicate effectively with senior management and external partners while aligning with organizational strategy and goals.
Required Qualifications
- First level university degree or equivalent experience required
- Advanced university degree preferred
- Typically 10 or more years of related work experience
- 5 or more years of people management experience
- Strong people leadership capability
- Storage and/or Networking knowledge
- Ability to motivate and lead teams through change
- Customer-centric mindset
- Flexibility to support U.S. business hours
