Engineering Shoring Advisor

Job Summary
Provide onsite consulting and solutions for the installation of engineered systems; conduct pre-implementation planning and customer preparedness calls; advocate for on-job safety; assess job-site conditions and plan tasks via Plan of the Day; implement the engineered system strictly per design; guide safe and efficient workflow; direct system components to proper placement during install; provide removal guidance and post-job staging support; educate customers and UR personnel on equipment defects, repair procedures, and engineered-systems training; participate in Engineered Systems Hubs to improve processes and customer experience; travel to job sites and manage expenses; this role is Safety Sensitive and requires ability to travel up to 75% and work with diverse teams.
Required Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to convince and/or influence customers
- Knowledge of OSHA and/or Canadian safe working practices and regulatory requirements
- Strong technical, analytical, and numeric skills
- Working knowledge of underground construction and trench safety equipment
- Able to read job plans, schematics, and diagrams
- Teamwork oriented and willing to pitch in where needed
- Work independently with little supervision, and under moderately ambiguous circumstances
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and the ability to travel 75% of the time
