Job Summary
Engineering Shift Leader at Aloft Abu Dhabi handles guest repair requests, performs preventive maintenance on hotel tools and equipment, and repairs HVAC/electrical/mechanical/plumbing systems. Responsibilities include inspecting tools/equipment, locating shut-offs, maintaining maintenance inventory, communicating daily activities across shifts, applying Lockout/Tagout, painting and drywall work, minor landscaping, testing and troubleshooting equipment, programming TVs, and ensuring safety and guest-service standards. Requires basic computer skills, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and adherence to safety policies; high school diploma or GED and Driver’s License preferred; hotel engineering/maintenance experience is a plus.
