Job Summary

Assemble and repair electric motors by interpreting drawings, creating build records, and maintaining logs. Support testing by measuring components, assembling test equipment, and installing motors for flight validation. Perform troubleshooting, quality inspection, and documentation updates while collaborating with design engineers. Maintain proficiency in hand and power tools, redlining schematics, and managing high-voltage safety protocols. This role requires interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings and maintaining logs throughout the build process. Candidates must be comfortable troubleshooting process deviations and working with electro-mechanical propulsion systems. Experience with CAD, welding, or machining is preferred, along with technical knowledge of electrical systems ranging from 24 VDC to 800 VDC.

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience building electric motors
  • Previous Computer-Aided Design (CAD) experience – Specifically 3DX/Catia
  • Technical knowledge of electrical systems ranging from 24 VDC to 800 VDC
  • Two-year degree or certificate from an accredited two (2) year college, university, or technical school
