Job Summary
Lead end-to-end engineering initiatives, manage scope, schedule, budget and resources; develop detailed project plans; coordinate cross-functional teams; identify risks and mitigation strategies; manage budgets and cost control; communicate status to leadership; ensure regulatory compliance and safety; drive continuous improvement; support product development; facilitate design reviews; ensure proper documentation and handoffs; interact with customers and suppliers. Evidence of 5+ years of engineering, manufacturing, or technical project management experience; Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or technical project management
- Experience in managing and owning project timelines, alleviating project milestone obstacles, budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation
- Experience working in cross-functional environments
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and project lifecycle management
- Understanding of quality systems, risk management, and compliance standards
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies
- Excellent leadership and team coordination abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong decision-making and conflict resolution skills
- Lead end-to-end project management for engineering initiatives, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource planning
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and status reports
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals and deliverables
- Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve issues
- Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost control
- Communicate project status, updates, and risks to leadership
- Ensure compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and safety guidelines
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices in project execution
- Support product development, process improvement as applicable
- Facilitate meetings and design reviews
- Align project deliverables with strategic business goals and engineering roadmaps
- Ensure proper documentation of all project phases, including technical specifications and lessons learned
- Ensure effective handoff from project completion to operations
- Lead or support audits, ensuring project documentation and processes meet internal and external requirements
- Visiting customers and suppliers as needed
