Job Summary
Own the project development schedule end-to-end, tracking milestones, flagging delays, and adjusting plans while coordinating sample logistics globally. Maintain the New Product Introduction schedule across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on rollout timing and changes. Participate in evening vendor calls with product and manufacturing teams to confirm factory tracking and timeline realism. Work closely with industrial design, engineering, marketing, and retail teams to support new product launches and go-to-market strategies. Manage cross-functional coordination from design through mass production, acting as the last line of defense against things falling through the cracks.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years experience with hands-on project management requiring coordination across multiple teams and tracking detailed milestones across multiple concurrent projects
- Able to work 3 days a week from our office in the Dogpatch neighborhood of San Francisco
- Strong systems thinking and a drive to optimize workflow and efficiency, with the ability to navigate unexpected roadblocks through rational problem solving
- Familiarity with mass production of consumer products
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with or an excitement for learning how premium consumer products are designed, developed at scale, and brought to market
- Experience working and communicating with overseas vendors
- Experience with Slack, Asana, Notion, Airtable
- You use and care a lot about gear (photography, outdoor or other passion areas)
- You have strong opinions about the products that you use in your life and enjoy debating what makes these products great
- You enjoy working in-office, collaborating, and contributing to a strong team culture
