Job Summary
Engineering Project Manager for a packaging leader in North Texas. Leads packaging project design team, develops equipment specifications and RFQ documents, mentors junior engineers, provides stakeholder updates, creates master project schedules, monitors performance, revises schedules due to changes, maintains drawings/calculations/equipment data, verifies PO terms, develops FAT protocols, leads FATs to meet client vs OEM requirements, coordinates equipment delivery, collaborates with outside sales on technical projects, provides on-site installation and start-up support. Requires a B.S. degree in an ABET-accredited engineering field, 3-8 years in automated packaging systems and in CPG/food & beverage/pharma manufacturing, AutoCAD, MS Office, financial analysis, and strong problem-solving and teamwork skills. Domestic and international travel required. PMP/CAPM preferred; bilingual Spanish a plus.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. degree in related engineering field from an ABET accredited degree program
- 3 to 8 years’ experience in automated packaging systems
- 3 to 8 years’ experience in CPG, Food and Beverage or pharmaceutical manufacturing industries is a MUST
- PMP/CAPM strongly preferred
- AutoCAD experience required
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Ability to read, write, and interpret technical information
- Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project Management; Salesforce
- Financial analysis capabilities
- Ability to solve problems independently
- Work well under pressure and with little/no supervision
- Work well as a member of a team or group
- Domestic and international travel required
