Engineering Project Manager (Mobility)

Job Summary
Lead a cross-functional technical team through product development, V&V, and commercialization of medical device/robotic products for personal mobility. Translate high-level project goals into system requirements in partnership with System Engineers, provide both high-level technical and people leadership to project teams, and drive delivery of project milestones while managing schedules, costs, and resources. Create comprehensive project plans and collaborate with upper management to resolve roadblocks across DEKA projects. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering and at least 5 years of leading commercial robot or medical device product development, with experience in embedded software and electromechanical products, plus proven ability to manage scope, budget, and resources and to communicate effectively across teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline
- Minimum of 5 years leading commercial robot or medical device product development teams
- Experience with robots or electromechanical products with embedded software
- Direct experience leading projects from initial concept through design and release
- Must have experience successfully managing schedule, budget, and project resources
- Exceptional project management and communication skills (written and verbal)
