Job Summary
Engineering Project Manager for Land Development responsible for coordinating, guiding, and supervising civil-engineering projects from production documents through client and internal team management and project finances. Drive team effectiveness by staff development, align individual strengths with project requirements, and preempt obstacles. Negotiate contracts, define project scope within proposals, make critical decisions to maintain schedule and scope, reinforce the CAGE brand promises, and deliver superior customer service. Delegate tasks with clear deliverables and deadlines, cultivate robust internal relationships, and build a strong client network. Requires a BS in Engineering, 7+ years of experience; PE is preferred but not required. Strong technical background in project design and coordination, exceptional communication, problem-solving abilities, and a proven track record of profitable project delivery.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Engineering from an accredited university
- 7+ years of professional experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred, but not required
- Demonstrated track record of success as a project engineer with a strong technical background
- Established strong relationships with both clients and internal team members
- Proficient in project design & coordination
- Skillful in task delegation and leadership
- Excellent communication skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Consistently delivers profitable projects independently or with minimal supervision
- Experience managing client relationships with the intent to generate repeat clients
