Job Summary
Engineering Project Manager for Civil/Land Development projects in Winter Park, FL. Lead full lifecycle of land development and civil infrastructure projects, create scopes, timelines, and budgets, and coordinate engineering staff, field crews, and drafting teams. Conduct QA/QC reviews, lead design efforts for boundary surveys, plats, topographic surveys, and construction layout. Serve as primary client contact, drive issue resolution, and build trust. Mentor junior engineers and support hiring/onboarding. Attend internal and client meetings, review technical drawings/calculations/field data, update schedules and budgets, and ensure documentation is accurate and ready for reuse.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (required)
- PE license strongly preferred or EIT with clear path to licensure
- 5+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering or land development
- Expertise in surveying principles, site design, grading, platting, and construction support
- Strong command of engineering standards, codes, and permitting requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet)
- Skilled in reviewing and interpreting CAD drawings and field notes
- Confident communicator and capable team leader
