Job Summary
Plan and drive delivery across hardware, firmware, software, and manufacturing workstreams while building realistic schedules and tracking dependencies. Run team rhythms including standups, planning sessions, and reviews, then manage scope and priorities in a fast-changing environment. Keep cross-site stakeholders aligned and unblocked across Glasgow and San Francisco, surfacing risks proactively to ensure ambitious technical goals ship. Maintain the engineering org's planning and shipping processes over time. Report to the Head of Automation to own how engineering plans and delivers across sites.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years in project/program management for engineering or hardware-heavy products
- A track record coordinating multidisciplinary teams (some mix of hardware, firmware, software, manufacturing)
- Strong planning, risk-management, and communication skills
- Composure under pressure
- A highly organised, proactive style
- The ability to drive without authority
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in deep-tech, robotics, lab automation, scientific instruments, or manufacturing
- Familiarity with tools such as [ClickUp / Jira / Linear]
- Experience coordinating across multiple sites or time zones
