Job Summary
Lead the Drivetrain Brake Mechatronics team to align machine programs with technology requirements for lower powertrain brake systems; design, develop, implement, and validate drivetrain control software and algorithms; provide ownership and stewardship of legacy technologies; collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, and validation teams to ensure system integration and robust, cost-effective solutions; drive process improvements and verification activities across controls development and validation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics/Computer/Systems Engineering or Agricultural Engineering (ABET accredited)
- 10+ years of Engineering experience (preferred)
- Lower powertrain component design or development experience
- Machine brake controls systems experience
- Machine performance experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and collaborate with partners
- Experience with system development and integration project delivery on-time and within budget
