Engineering Project Controls Manager

Lead project controls for capital projects across multiple manufacturing facilities, managing scope, schedule, budget, risk, and performance. Develop execution plans, forecasts, and risk mitigation strategies while establishing standardized processes for change management, cost control, and governance. Manage the enterprise capital portfolio, including prioritization, resource planning, and strategic allocation, alongside annual and long-range capital planning activities. Own financial controls such as cost tracking, forecasting, accruals, and estimate-at-completion processes, while analyzing variances to recommend corrective actions. Present executive dashboards and KPIs to support leadership decisions and facilitate cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain. Supervise support staff and direct project closeouts, ensuring audit readiness and continuous improvement. Requires 5–10 years in project controls or capital planning within manufacturing; proficiency in Excel and PMO tools; travel up to 25% within the U.S. and Canada.
