Job Summary
Oversee and manage programmatic execution of engineering scope, including cost target flow-down, schedule creation, and budget alignment with program milestones. Act as Scrum Master to remove barriers, own the engineering control account, and drive corrective actions based on collected performance data. Lead engineering proposal activities, manage scope baselines, and enforce configuration control per the System Engineering Management Plan. Identify technical risks, develop mitigation plans, and communicate status reports to technical leadership. Requires a STEM degree with 8+ years of experience, US citizenship, and Secret clearance eligibility. Salary range is $142,200 to $213,400.

- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) discipline
- 8 years relevant experience
- Master's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) discipline
- 6 years of relevant work experience
- PhD in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) discipline
- 3 years relevant experience
- 4 years' experience as a technical project lead
- Understanding of Engineering processes with execution experience
- Experience summarizing and communicating status reports to technical leadership at a level higher than immediate management
Desired Qualifications
- Solid technical foundation in systems engineering with experience in multiple aspects of the systems engineering process
- Experience in Program/Project management of hardware intensive programs including demonstrated knowledge of earned value management
- Self-directed technical leader with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to act as a liaison to the customer for engineering efforts
- Prior military or government contract experience
