Job Summary
Onsite Engineering Program Manager II leading cross-functional teams to manage the Product Development Lifecycle from charter to launch for Soft Coolers, coordinating design, engineering, manufacturing, and go-to-market activities; ensures schedule, budget, quality, safety and product performance; interfaces with Sourcing, Design, Quality, Engineering, IT, Product, Finance, Legal, Marketing and beyond to deliver exceptional products on time and within budget. Responsible for documenting charter, schedules, budgets, action logs, and risk registers, and for managing stakeholder communications. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience, 5+ years of relevant experience, experience leading new product development and gate reviews, and knowledge of manufacturing best practices in consumer goods. PMP certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (STEM) preferred or equivalent experience
- Greater than five (5) years of relevant experience
- Experience leading new product development in a go-to-market or gate review process
- Consumer Goods Industry experience highly preferred
- Solid understanding of program management techniques and methodologies
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Self-reliant, able to execute with minimal oversight and guidance
- PMP certification is preferred
