Job Summary
Proactively improve day-to-day operations, production, services, quality, and efficiency while driving program performance and long-term sustainability. Oversee staffing, resources, business development, and office operations, including mentoring, hiring, workforce planning, and performance management. Identify and resolve operational deficiencies, track staffing needs, and enforce product standards and procedures. Collaborate with clients to pursue new business opportunities and support cross-office resource sharing. Anticipate staffing peaks and valleys to maintain profitability and program growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering management from an accredited institution and/or related field
- Professional Engineering license in area of expertise
- 10+ years of progressively responsible work experience
- Exceptional skills in team leadership, coordination, and support
- Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with groups both internally and externally
- Ability to research, analyze, and present office and individual financial performance measures
- Prior supervisory/management experience in an engineering services firm
- Ability to travel as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated business management skills, including an understanding of company and office financials, financial drivers, hiring and staff development, and leadership
- Five years of demonstrated experience managing multiple clients and projects while overseeing a team, or teams, of people
