Job Summary
Engineering Program Director with responsibility to lead a technical discipline, perform advisory/consulting work across broad program areas, and drive planning, organization, and guidance of major programs. Requires capable oral and written communication, leading project meetings, presenting at functions, and maintaining liaison with individuals and organizations. Travel may be required to RailPros headquarters, field offices, client sites, and project locations. Emphasizes fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture, integrity, accountability, and adherence to company policies and regulations. Strong knowledge of engineering standards, ability to negotiate with top engineers and officers, deliver presentations, and participate in media interviews; travel to client sites and industry engagements as needed. Proficient with electronic communication and standard office applications; mentorship and professional development are encouraged.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program
- 20+ years prior experience
- In depth knowledge of industry standards and guidelines
- Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
- Member of professional practice organization, recognized expert on national activity or spokesperson for the profession
