Job Summary
Design the next generation of breakthroughs by completing various project subtasks using broad knowledge of engineering disciplines, processes, and tools. Interact with internal customers and team members to facilitate product completion to customer specifications under moderate supervision. This role requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, two years of experience, and the ability to travel up to 10% of the time. Candidates must hold U.S. citizenship and be able to obtain a DOE security clearance. Located in Kansas City, this position involves hybrid or on-site work as directed by management.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree preferably in Engineering from an ABET accredited Engineering program
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- Ability to work hybrid or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business
- Regular and reliable attendance as it is an essential function of this job
- United States Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for the position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)
