Engineering Process Lead

Job Summary
Own and govern the engineering process framework, including requirements management, design governance, configuration control, change management, verification, and release processes. Ensure engineering processes align with regulatory, customer, and internal quality standards while leading deployment, communication, and training across teams. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lessons learned, root cause analysis, and performance data to streamline workflows and remove inefficiencies. Maintain process documentation, templates, and guidance materials, then monitor and report on adherence using KPIs, audits, and metrics. Act as the central point of contact for process-related queries, escalations, and governance decisions to support programme teams in adopting consistent, traceable, and audit-ready engineering practices. This role requires DV clearance and on-site work in Hampshire.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in engineering process management, governance, or quality within complex engineering environments
- Strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle processes and frameworks
- Experience implementing and improving processes aligned to regulatory and quality standards
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret process performance data and drive improvements
- Effective stakeholder management skills across engineering, quality, and programme teams
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence adoption and behavioural change
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and continuous improvement initiatives
- Eligible for DV (Developed Vetting) clearance
- Ability to work on-site in Hampshire
