Job Summary
Principal FP&A role within Engineering Finance: maintain and enhance planning tools, financial models, and templates to enable accurate forecasting and informed decision-making; manage master data control points; execute monthly and quarterly close, monthly forecasting, and what-if scenarios; support overhead planning with Engineering leadership and Directorate Business Managers to drive the annual operating plan and monthly forecasts. Strong financial acumen, problem-solving skills, and opportunity identification for process improvements are required; ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of APEX/SAP/BI tools and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling are preferred. Hybrid work arrangement and US-based employment.
Required Qualifications
- University Degree or equivalent experience
- minimum 5 years relevant FP&A or finance experience OR Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years experience
- Strong Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); Excel power query
- experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling (FP&A)
- excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- ability to work in fast-paced deadline-driven environment
- APEX/SAP/Business Warehouse knowledge and experience
- Alteryx and Tableau and/or Power BI experience
- ability to manage multiple priorities
- attention to detail and organizational skills
