Job Summary
Provide high-level expertise in Engineering Data Management, governing technical and managerial efforts across the solution lifecycle. Participate in defining, institutionalizing, and maintaining EDM standards, processes, and deliverables while building integrated processes that balance cost, schedule, and performance objectives. Prepare and deliver engineering artefacts including interactive schedules, resource plans, dashboards, and Earned Value Management KPIs in collaboration with Work Package Managers. Travel within and outside the country may be required. This role supports the Chief Engineer and engineering project managers using Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence within the Airbus Defence and Space Romania team.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years overall working experience in IT / Engineering / Data Management technical domain
- min 1-2 year experience in Project Management support area / PMO
- Proven experience in IT / System Engineering technical domain
- Proven experience with some project management tools (Ms Project, Enterprise Project Management, Ms Excel, Google Suite, Powerpoint)
- Agile Project Management (Confluence, Jira) and project management processes
- Ability to structure and define the specific engineering data management deliverables, in accordance to the project life cycle
- Ability to easily communicate and interact with stakeholders
- Fluent in English
- Specific knowledge on Software development processes and/or hardware, engineering, Agile way of working, Jira / Confluence
- Knowledge on the Specialty area: Project Management and basic financial processes
- Knowledge of project management tools (Ms Project / Unified Planning, Enterprise Project Management, Ms Office, Confluence, Jira, Action items tracking, Google Suite, Risk management / ARM) and project management processes
- Based on business needs, travel within and outside the country may be required
Desired Qualifications
- CAPM / PMO Certification
- Familiar with System Engineering methodologies (e.g. INCOSE) and tools
- Ideally basic German and French
