Job Summary
Cloud hosting platform ownership role leading platform strategy and delivery across AWS/Azure foundations, container hosting and governed AI tooling. Drive incidents, changes and problem management, collaborate with Architecture, Security and Risk to ensure coherent, secure and compliant platforms, and enable engineers with self-service automation to move faster and more safely. Own cloud landing zones, guardrails, identity and networking, strengthen integration, improve observability, resilience and cost efficiency, and shape governance for AI productivity and automation tooling. Build and lead a high-performing, accountable engineering organization with strong engagement across multiple teams, delivering measurable improvements in reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading large cloud hosting or platform teams
- Strong cloud platforms capability across AWS and Azure foundations
- Experience with containerisation and hosting platforms
- Experience with incident, problem and change management (ITIL)
- Security posture, risk and compliance awareness in complex environments
- Vendor management, budgeting and cost optimisation
- Ability to influence multiple teams and drive continuous improvement
- Ability to balance speed, resilience, security and cost in a regulated environment
