Job Summary
Engineering Associate role within the Middle Office Engineering team at AQR India. You will design and build business applications for functions such as treasury, trade matching and settlement, portfolio accounting, and fund performance, and contribute to shaping the future state of the technology stack for these functions. You will join an engineering team that collaborates closely with operations professionals and will be responsible for delivering robust software across financial-operations domains. The role requires a strong foundation in web application development using C# and JavaScript/TypeScript, experience with Angular, familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS), and a passion for clean code, debugging, and analytical problem-solving. Strong communication and collaborative skills are important in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- 4 Years of work experience building web applications with C# and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with Angular or other web frameworks
- Experience with AWS or other cloud providers is a plus
- Experience with AI development tooling is a plus
- Experience with SQL and/or No-SQL Databases a plus
- Outstanding coding, debugging, and analytical skills
- Good communication skills
- Experience with Source / Version control systems such as Git
- Familiarity with software development best practices
