Job Summary
Manages a team of multi-disciplinary engineers to execute and grow system integrity programs; develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures; provides input on departmental business and technical strategies; acquires resources for department activities and provides technical management of suppliers; leads process improvements; maintains relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports; provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes; motivates employees; provides periodic updates to senior management with progress reports and project summaries; role involves travel up to 15% (domestic and international).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 5+ years of experience in engineering, engineering technology, or related technical discipline (for leadership roles)
- Leadership experience or completion of Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”
- Willing and able to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally
- Active Security Clearance (preferred or current)
Desired Qualifications
- Active Security Clearance (within the previous 24 months)
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 10+ years of experience in engineering-related technical discipline
- Experience with planning, scheduling, cost analysis, EVMS
- Experience training and mentoring in a technical environment
- Experience working with planning and scheduling processes, cost analysis, and EVMS
- Active security clearance (preferred)
