Job Summary
Engineering Manager to lead a fully autonomous team of Dev Owners, ensuring clear ownership, prioritization, and high standards across efficiency, security, stability, and performance. Own squad delivery within 2-month cycles, partner with Product and Design to deliver high-impact solutions, champion code quality and AI-augmented workflows, and act as Hiring Manager to scale the team. Stack includes React/Next.js (TypeScript), Nest.js (TypeScript), PostgreSQL, Algolia, with CI/CD via GitHub Actions and Cypress. The role emphasizes guiding others, maintaining simplicity at scale, and contributing to company-wide tech and process improvements, while benefiting from a hybrid Montreal-based office arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as a developer in SaaS or web-based products
- 3+ years in a leadership role
