Job Summary
Lead a high-performing team of software engineers focused on the usability, performance, and scalability of the fixed income investing platform for retail. Champion developer capabilities by driving innovation, adopting best practices, and improving the quality and reliability of deliverables through scalable design and architecture. Motivate and coach the engineering team while partnering with technical and business leaders to plan, prioritize, and execute the engineering roadmap. Manage full-stack applications using Java/Spring Boot, ReactJS, and microservices on AWS, ensuring the team delivers on the platform's roadmap with a focus on quality and developer productivity.
Required Qualifications
- 14 -18 years of hands-on experience in building & running full-stack applications
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing software engineering teams
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical and architectural decisions
- Strong understanding of both back-end and front-end technologies
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, best practices, and coding standards
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Exposure to DevOps tools and practices, such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Ansible
- Tech Stack: Java/Spring Boot, Microservices, ReactJS, MySQL, Kafka, Redis, AWS
Desired Qualifications
- Having built 0-1 product in a fast growing startup environment would be a big plus
- Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to learn more
