Job Summary
Provide technical supervision and oversee quality of team deliverables while ensuring compliance with codes and standards. Plan pole loading, define plans of control, and direct junior engineers. Deliver detailed engineering, design, and planning assessments for overhead and underground utility systems. Evaluate system operations to develop project scope and conduct engineering studies addressing system risk, reliability, and capacity limitations. Optimize system investment through engineering solutions that mitigate risk. Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously using sound business judgment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Structural, Mechanical or Civil Engineering
- 10+ Years of Industry Experience
- Knowledge of various standards of codes
- Ability to make good business and financial judgements and quick decisions
- Understanding of basic engineering theories and principles, including understanding of basic practices of researching engineering and design issues, evaluating alternatives, making sound recommendations, and preparing and presenting recommendations
- Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously
