Job Summary
Leading and mentoring a cross-functional engineering squad to deliver high-scale, customer-facing digital experiences across Tennis Australia’s Participation platforms (e.g., tennis.com.au, booking platforms). Drive architectural decisions, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure (Azure), and DevOps practices to ensure performance, scalability, and security. Collaborate with stakeholders and external partners to deliver high-quality experiences; require hands-on technical leadership and strong people leadership. Key technical qualifications include Azure, .NET, SQL/NoSQL, React, ASP.NET, APIs, microservices, CMS, and experience with high-traffic digital platforms. Willingness to obtain Police Check and Working with Children Check, and to be flexible with working hours. Required Qualifications
- Proven experience leading engineering teams delivering high-scale digital platforms
- Hands-on technical expertise across Azure cloud platform, CI/CD, DevOps practices
- Experience with back-end technologies such as Azure, .NET, SQL/NoSQL
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React and ASP.NET
- Experience with or exposure to Content Management Systems (CMS)
- Ability to contribute to architecture, code reviews, and technical decision-making
- Willingness to obtain Police Check and Working with Children Check
- Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements
