Job Summary
Lead the product development team to plan and execute all activities for marine HVAC and refrigeration products, including control planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. Drive technical excellence by adapting cutting-edge technologies from home and automotive applications for marine environments while managing talent and providing hands-on project guidance. Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with business objectives through cross-functional collaboration with in-house manufacturing and global suppliers. Occasionally travel to support customers, suppliers, and quality initiatives. This role supports Dometic's expansion into an electrified future for the boating industry.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- 7+ years of experience in product development and/or manufacturing engineering
- 3-5 years of engineering leadership or management experience
- Strong leadership, coaching, and talent development skills
- Exceptional skills in product development management
- Proven ability to lead teams and deliver engineering projects successfully
- Solid skills in multi-functional project management in a manufacturing environment
- Strong sense of urgency, enthusiasm, and a proven history of relentless execution
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate and lead diverse personalities across functions and sites
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- High emotional intelligence
- Mature and supportive leadership abilities
- Strong problem solving and decision-making capabilities
- Solid business acumen and financial literacy
- Expert agility in managing changing requirements and competing resources
- Well-developed organizational skills with the ability to manage a variety of tasks and projects

- Occasionally travels to support customers, suppliers, product launches, and quality initiatives
