Job Summary
Lead multiple, simultaneous product development projects from concept through production rollout, overseeing team dynamics, schedule, technical resolutions, and scope management. Direct all phases of development to verify compliance with regulatory, customer, and quality requirements while driving projects to meet time, cost, and performance targets. Coach, mentor, and develop direct reports, collaborating with cross-functional teams and working with sales and customers to support new opportunities. Interact with the FAA and other regulatory agencies to support certification and product integration. Research and evaluate new components and technologies for incorporation into designs, while supporting technical inquiries for both new and legacy products.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science
- Minimum of 10 years of experience designing and/or managing development of digital and mixed-signal products with embedded software
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing direct reports
- Experience managing product development in a regulated industry
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience using design, ERP, and project management software tools
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail

- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of environmental requirements such as RTCA DO-160 or similar aerospace, military, or commercial standards
- Familiarity with software development and standards, such as RTCA DO-178 or similar
- Managed projects and teams within a technically diverse cross-functional organization
