Job Summary
Lead a team of release managers to orchestrate the release lifecycle for Torc's autonomous driving product line, including scheduling agile release trains, performing impact analysis, and managing Git branching and versioning procedures. Coordinate feature deliveries, bug fixes, and change logs while facilitating daily and weekly release meetings with technology representatives. Oversee resource planning, performance management, and hiring for direct reports, ensuring safe and successful product delivery across engineering, fleet, and verification teams. Maintain rapid engineering schedules for self-driving software stacks through structured release processes and configuration management audits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical field
- 10+ years experience for software build, integration and test systems
- 2+ Experience managing a team of direct reports
- Experience with complex embedded systems including ADAS technologies i.e. autonomous driving software architecture, sensors, networking, compute hardware, control systems
- Experience with software release tools i.e. build systems, software versioning systems, defect management systems, source control etc.
- Strong problem-solving / analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to learn in unstructured environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills enabling a positive energy and work environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving software/hardware infrastructure
- Experience delivering production systems from early prototype phases through product launch and in-field maintenance
- Work Location: For this position, we are open to hiring in Fort Worth, TX (U.S.) office work locations in a hybrid capacity.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience testing autonomous vehicles, ROS based robotics systems or ADAS features
- Configuration management of safety-critical systems, understanding of systems engineering and verification, validation methodologies
