Engineering Manager, Real Time Analytics- San Francisco HQ

Own the success and growth of the engineering team by running regular 1:1s, delivering actionable feedback, and tailoring projects to individual development needs. Hold the bar on technical decisions by reviewing architecture docs and critical code for long-term maintainability while managing technical debt and defect rates. Drive scoping, costing, and estimation accuracy; set clear expectations, manage cross-functional communication, and escalate risks early to ensure on-time delivery. Lead high-quality QA focused on correctness and completeness, and partner with Product and Design to contribute directly to discovery and strategy. Advocate for developer experience and high-standard API design across the team's surface. Cultivate a collaborative, inclusive culture by bringing PMs into architectural discussions early and resolving interpersonal or systemic issues. Set technical direction and define interfaces for the runtime layer between the billing engine and customer workflows, ensuring real-time alerting and balance reads are correct and low-latency.
