Job Summary
Engineering Manager for Water and wastewater oversees a multi-discipline team on municipal projects, providing technical leadership, mentorship, client engagement, and coordination across scope, schedule, and budget. Responsibilities include leading meetings with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies; developing technical approaches and scopes of work for business development; supervising engineers and technicians; guiding deliverables; and collaborating with major municipal clients to support project objectives in Iowa. Requires a Bachelor's in Engineering with 8+ years of experience; PE is desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification is desirable
- Experience in engineering consulting and multi-discipline project execution
- Wastewater treatment plant upgrades and expansion experience preferred
- Management responsibilities including hiring, disciplinary actions, and salary administration
