Job Summary
Engineering Manager to lead all plant engineering activities, manage and mentor teams of Project, Design, and potentially Controls Engineers, drive capital projects from conception to commissioning, and champion continuous improvement across the plant floor. Provides hands-on technical guidance, fosters a culture of excellence, and aligns engineering efforts with production goals and expansion plans.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
- Proven experience managing large-scale capital projects from start to finish
- Extensive experience in high-speed manufacturing environments (industries such as paper, packaging, food, consumer products, or textiles)
- Experience in project engineering and process engineering including continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and/or Six Sigma methodologies
- Hands-on leadership style with ability to develop and coach engineering teams
- Practical understanding and experience with maintenance operations
