Job Summary
Engineering Manager for Water and wastewater projects will lead a multi-discipline team to deliver design-build and other delivery models for municipal clients, overseeing technical leadership, client interactions, scope/schedule/budget execution, mentorship of junior staff, and participation in business development with a focus on wastewater treatment plant upgrades and expansions. The role involves coordinating meetings with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, vendors and equipment suppliers, guiding delivery of technical deliverables, developing strategies to meet client objectives, and managing budgets and project communications in Iowa. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 8+ years of relevant experience; PE certification is desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- over 8 years of relevant experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification desirable
- experience in wastewater treatment plant upgrades and expansion preferred
- management responsibilities including hiring, disciplinary actions, and salary administration
