Job Summary
Lead cross-functional engineering projects involving hardware, software, and product development teams by coordinating engineering programs and managing project timelines. Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and milestones while tracking progress, identifying risks, and resolving issues impacting product performance. Serve as the primary coordination point between engineering disciplines, facilitating design reviews and status meetings to ensure effective collaboration. Spend time on the production floor supporting prototype builds, troubleshooting, and engineering improvements while working closely with manufacturing and quality teams. Maintain project documentation and drive continuous improvement in engineering processes. Bachelor's degree in engineering required with 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional projects from concept through implementation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of engineering experience with increasing responsibility in product development, project management, or engineering leadership.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional engineering projects from concept through implementation.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
- Comfortable working in both office and manufacturing environments.
- Strong technical aptitude and willingness to remain engaged in hands-on engineering activities when needed.
