Job Summary
Own the technical aspect of a domain-specific area by supervising, coordinating, and reviewing work while estimating personnel needs and schedules. Assign and review tasks to meet completion dates, evaluate performance, resolve complaints, and make recommendations. Define success metrics, plan initiatives, and remove technical and personnel hurdles for the team to succeed. Collaborate with higher-level staff to set expectations and coordinate delivered work. This Engineering Manager role focuses on driving desired results from complex requirements for PrizePicks' Daily Fantasy Sports platform, which covers the NFL, NBA, and Esports titles.
Required Qualifications
- 5-8 years of relevant work experience
- Demonstrated advanced experience with domain area programming language
- Track record of being an Engineering Manager for product teams to drive the desired result from complex requirement
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
- Must be available for remote work or based in Atlanta
- Must be able to supervise, coordinate, and review work
- Must be able to estimate personnel needs and schedules
