Job Summary
Lead platform engineering teams building core platforms, cloud infrastructure, and developer tooling to power a high-scale eCommerce ecosystem. Define and evolve platform strategy and multi-quarter roadmaps, guide architecture decisions, and enable engineering teams to deliver reliable systems safely and efficiently. Own DevOps and CI/CD practices, improve build/test/deploy workflows, and strengthen observability and incident response. Partner with product, architecture, security, and application teams; mentor and develop cross-functional teams; participate in hiring and team development. This role balances hands-on technical engagement with strategic leadership to ensure scalable, secure, and cost-conscious platform capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ Years of professional experience in software engineering with a focus on platform, infrastructure, or DevOps
- 3+ years of experience in an engineering management or technical leadership role
- 7+ years of experience and knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar)
- Experience with distributed systems, containerization, orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code
- Experience owning or supporting CI/CD pipelines and automation
- Ability to lead architectural discussions and make data-informed technical decisions
- Strong communication skills and experience collaborating across teams
