Job Summary
Lead, coach, and grow a team of software engineers across multiple locations while owning the technical direction and delivery of internal applications that improve the employee experience. Partner with Product, HR, IT, and business stakeholders to translate priorities into scalable technical solutions, driving architecture decisions and engineering best practices across the codebase. Balance delivery, technical quality, and long-term platform strategy as you help modernize and consolidate internal platforms for DoorDash and Wolt. Foster an AI-first engineering culture by adopting AI-assisted development tools and embedding AI into automation. Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders while delivering meaningful business impact through high-impact initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- significant software engineering experience
- 8+ years building scalable production systems
- previous experience leading and developing high-performing engineering teams
- comfortable balancing technical leadership with people leadership
- strong full-stack development experience using technologies such as React, Node.js, and Python
- experience designing scalable software architectures and cloud-native applications on AWS
- track record of successfully delivering large cross-functional engineering initiatives
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Enjoy working in a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve alongside business needs
- A collaborative, pragmatic, and ownership-driven mindset
