Engineering Manager

Engineering Manager to lead and grow a high-autonomy, high-accountability engineering team delivering AI-native software in a regulated, member-impacting domain. Own end-to-end engineering from discovery to delivery, design and evolve systems to support safe, scalable AI-augmented development, and use data and experimentation to validate solutions. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, Data, and Clinical to align execution with user, clinical, and business outcomes. Lead from the front as a hands-on builder, mentor engineers, and set technical direction focused on architecture, system behavior, and long-term scalability. This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week in the NYC office, with ongoing collaboration with the London team and opportunities to scale globally. The role emphasizes ownership, curiosity, and excellence, and requires experience leading one or more engineering teams delivering AI-native, user-facing products, plus a track record of hiring, mentoring, and delivering high-quality systems. It is based in Manhattan, NYC, and notes that visa sponsorship is not offered at this time.
