Job Summary
Engineering Manager needed to lead a cross-functional team of 8+ engineers spanning Android, FullStack and Backend to drive transportation and logistics initiatives for long-distance deliveries in the US. Own the hiring process in partnership with recruiting, collaborate with business and engineering leaders to translate needs into a world-class product roadmap, and partner with analytics to measure impact. Responsibilities include providing technical guidance, shipping product-focused features across mobile, backend and web, and delivering scalable mid-mile transportation systems that enable third-party deliveries. The role emphasizes leadership, ownership, and a high-energy, adaptable approach in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment with a focus on impact and career growth.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in people management, ideally leading a team size of 8+ and managing senior engineers
- Prior experience working on a user-facing product
- Extensive experience as an engineer in a product focused development environment
- Strong hands-on technical leadership
- Ability to lead full-stack engineering teams - backend, mobile, and some web
- Growth-minded mindset and ownership attitude
- Desire for impact and ability to work collaboratively with the team
