Job Summary
Lead the development, architecture, and optimization of web and backend applications built with PHP Laravel, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions. Drive CI/CD pipeline improvements, conduct code reviews, and mentor a team of engineers within an agile environment. Collaborate with stakeholders to define product features while enforcing robust security standards, including authentication, access control, and encryption. Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes, and optimize database performance across MySQL, MS SQL, and MariaDB with Galera Cluster. Configure Nginx and Linux servers, implement monitoring and logging solutions, and ensure projects meet business objectives on time and within scope.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience with the PHP framework, specifically Laravel
- Strong proficiency in SQL databases, including MS SQL and MySQL
- Strong proficiency in version control systems such as Git
- Good understanding of JavaScript, jQuery, and frontend integration
- Experience with unit testing and writing clean, testable code
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
- Experience working with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux administration
- Familiarity with Nginx, MariaDB, and Galera Cluster in high-availability environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven team leadership and mentorship experience within an agile development environment
